Licensed since 2001, my experience with individual adults, couples, and families has led me to the simple approach of getting back to basics.  Getting back to what matters most.  Taking inventory on where we’re going in life and how we got where we are now.  It’s important to take a breath and give ourselves credit for being where we are now.  If you find that you are stuck, let’s figure out why.  Being stuck is only temporary.  There is hope.  I think if we change the way we think about things and try new approaches, we can tackle hurdles.  Our thoughts are powerful.  You know how not being able to get negative thoughts out of your head leads to hopelessness?  Well, it can work the opposite too.  Positive thinking can turn things around.  Breaking down useless cycles and critical judgments can set someone free.  I know, easier said than done.  I know, if it were that simple, you wouldn’t be seeking help.  Well, we all need an objective viewpoint and some new ideas once in a while.  So, let’s start the journey together – breaking things down, getting back to basics, and building things back up in a stronger, more sustainable form.
